A key part of the Planet X service is to meet riders demands, by allowing them to cusomize there bike build using the huge range of components that we carry in stock. Simply choose your bike through this website, buy it as it is or hit customise to choose specific components.

About the bike builders

The bike build team consists of 6 experienced mechanics, most of which have ridden professionally themselves, who are dedicated to making sure that your bikes are built to the highest standard.

Bike build process - the build queue

Use our Express Bike Build service if you're looking for a fast turn around. For an extra £100 we can usually talk a bike builder into burning the midnight oil and arrange a next day dispatch. Call us for more details.

Once you've selected and purchased the perfect bike through the website, the order will go into the build queue.

How long will it take?

We usually have a small backlog of bikes to be built, as capacity is currently restricted by the size of our workshop. All orders will go into what we call the Bike Build Queue, and are dealt with in date order.
