A little bit about who we are and where we came from.
Mark Lovatt
UK road racing legend, Planet X product tester and bike builder.
Mark has been with us as a sponsored rider since 1994, and has been an employee here since 2009.
He represented Great Britain at the 2001 Road World Championships and England at the 2002 Comonwealth Games. He won the Premier Calendar Series in 2000 and 2003.
Perhaps his finest acheivement is winning The Tour Of The Peak six times on the trot. The Tour Of The Peak is one of the toughest and most prestigious events on the calendar.
Mark still races. His racing goal remains: "to get the best out myself".
His favourite part of his role at Planet X is "tinkering with new bikes and testing fast stuff".
Mark's favourite bike of the past few years is the Planet X Nanolight Guru but he reckons the new N2A could well take the top spot soon.
Cycling means the world to Mark. When asked if he has any interests outside of cycling, his reply: "There is nothing interesting outside of cycling".
