Planet X N2A SRAM Force Carbon Road Bike

The N2A was designed from the ground up to be our most technical road bike ever. This SRAM Force Carbon model brings true race winning performance to a price point unheard of with technical features that other brands can't touch. Nobody can offer you a bike of this specification and quality at this price. Don't look for shortcuts in the spec - this build is only possible because of the way we work with the worlds biggest suppliers and factories to bring you offers direct, cutting out the middleman and the thousands extra that "conventional" brands would charge you for a bike with a spec like this.

FRAME
The N2a is the most serious technical road bike we've ever produced. We wanted to combine several performance aspects into one package to give true high performance race ready technology at a price and availability level that had never been done before. Building on the geometry and handling of our Nanolight model, the N2a is designed to be an aerodynamically efficient road frame that also has agile and consistent handling so that it can cope with the dynamic loads required by riders wanting a machine that handles.

Road.CC tested our first sample of this frame and said "It's an exciting bike. I like a bike that responds quick, steers fast and accurately, and can hang out with the fast boys in a sprint. I like to get the maximum speed for my effort. If you're similar, this bike is worth a good look."

The N2a was designed in collaboration with renowned Italian bike designer Roberto Billato, a frame-builder and carbon fibre specialist with over 30 years' experience. Roberto's unrivalled knowledge of carbon fibre design and construction means you can depend on the N2a to offer you amazing performance. Another key member of our design team is Mark Lovatt, six times winner of Tour of The Peak, Mark's hard won northern riding experience is another part of what sets Planet X apart from other manufacturers. Mark also oversees all bike specs and builds in our workshop.

WHEELS
No corners cut with these awesome 52mm deep carbon clinchers. Developed by our designer/rider Mark Lovatt, these 52mm carbon clincher wheels are fast, light and tough and weigh under 1800g per pair for quick acceleration and nimble handling. CNC-machined aluminium sidewalls mean your brakes will still work properly in all conditions. Built on lightweight hubs with 6061 aluminium bodies and high-strength 7075 aluminium axles and freehub body with super smooth Japanese-made sealed bearings. Sandvik T302 stainless steel spokes.

FINISHING KIT
Our own factory sourced finishing kit gives you a quality bar, stem and seatpost that's some of the best around. Compact drop bar means you won't be rubbing your nose on your front tyre and you can get a position that's perfect for you. Superlight, strong and stiff 3d forged stem keeps you tracking. All components are proportionally sized for the size of bike you buy, with lengths and dimensions chosen by our experienced bike fitting staff.
