Why Flat Bars?
We've wanted to create a featherweight full carbon urban speed machine for a long time. With advent of our London showroom opening it seemed the perfect time to go for it. This bike has one purpose and that is to go fast! But also have great handling and a more upright riding position. The flat bars give you get razor sharp handling, a real plus for urban riding, the upright position also greatly improves your awareness and field of vision, making it ideal for riding in traffic.
Fast and Light
But don't be fooled the SL Pro flat bar is a fully-fledged carbon road bike. It's everything you'd expect from our best selling road machine: super light (SL) at only 8 kg (17.63 lbs)and stiff, yet comfortable. It sails up hills, inspires confidence on fast descents and will pull away from traffic lights quicker than a Ferrari! (We've actually tested this).
Great quality kit
The SL not only handles great and looks good but we've specified some quality super-durable components to withstand the rigours of urban riding. This bike fitted with the latest SRAM chainset and gears. Rolling resistance comes courtesy of the much-loved Planet A57 wheelset. Finishing kit is all top quality from Planet X and On-One.

Sizing Notes
All frame size recommendations are approximate. A good fit will also depend on the correct choice of stem length, correct bike set-up for the rider and riding style.
Correct frame size choice can vary greatly with riders' torso length. If you have longer legs and a shorter torso, go for a slightly shorter stem. If you think you are borderline between sizes, and you have longer legs and a shorter torso, go for the smaller frame size. If you have shorter legs and a longer torso, go for the larger frame size to get the extra top tube length.
As the frame sizes increase, so does the length of the head tube. If you are inflexible or perhaps have a history of back problems, consider going for a larger frame size. This will increase the relative height of the handlebars making the position less “extreme”. The larger frame will also have a longer top tube, so you’ll need to compensate for this with a shorter stem.
