Over recent years, the Planet X name has become synonymous with top quality bikes and cycling components at the best value prices. The company, based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, took the cycling world by storm with hugely popular and highly acclaimed road bikes such as the Planet X Pro Carbon, Team Alu and Nanolight, as well as the award-winning Stealth and Exocet time trial bikes. The design and attention to detail doesn't stop with carbon road frames though - other legendary specialist products like the Planet X Uncle John cyclo-cross frame continue to excel in events where reliability, speed and performance are absolutely essential.
Planet X is more than just another online bike shop - alongside its own extensive range of bikes, frames and cycling products sit top quality components, clothing, spares and accessories from all the big-name manufacturers such as Shimano, FSA, Guerciotti, Giro, Schwalbe, Continental and SRAM - plus, a devotion to value combined with extensive buying power gives Planet X the opportunity to deliver amongst the lowest prices in Europe direct to the cycling public in the UK and beyond.
Planet X has received praise and awards from customers and the cycling industry alike. 220 Triathlon magazine has voted the Stealth time trial bike its 'Bike of the Year' award for the 3rd time, and awarded the Exocet a Best in Test - citing its astonishing quality and value for money compared to its competitors.
Planet X, together with its sister brand On-One, continues to pursue its aim of offering high-spec road, track, time trial, mountain, commuter and fixie bikes direct to the consumer, cutting out the middleman and slashing prices to the absolute minimum. The Company has been at the leading edge of the British bike scene for years and is now branching further afield with aims to deliver the same award-winning formula internationally.

All frame size recommendations are approximate. A good fit will also depend on the correct choice of stem length, correct bike set-up for the rider and riding style.
Correct frame size choice can vary greatly with riders' torso length. If you have longer legs and a shorter torso, go for a slightly shorter stem. If you think you are borderline between sizes, and you have longer legs and a shorter torso, go for the smaller frame size. If you have shorter legs and a longer torso, go for the larger frame size to get the extra top tube length.
As the frame sizes increase, so does the length of the head tube. If you are inflexible or perhaps have a history of back problems, consider going for a larger frame size. This will increase the relative height of the handlebars making the position less “extreme”. The larger frame will also have a longer top tube, so you’ll need to compensate for this with a shorter stem.
