Individually hand built to Planet X's exacting standards and specifications by one of the world's most renowned builders of Titanium frames, we are pleased to offer some of the most exotic Ti 3-2.5 sportive frames available at prices you'll be hard pressed to beat.

With input from Planet X's team riders and customers alike, we know what good frame geometry is all about.  Slightly longer head tube and shorter in the top tube with more relaxed angles and greater frame clearances than the Ti road version, the sportive has been designed by Planet X specifically with long rides and comfort in mind. Dutch Ti wizards Van Nicholas have converted that into a superb frame that simply oozes class, rivals aluminium in weight, is as comfortable as steel but has a sprightly ride and superb handling characteristics that many riders swear by.

About Ti 3/2.5 Frame Material

Titanium combines the best characteristics of all the other frame materials. It rivals aluminium in weight, is as comfortable as steel and has a sprightly ride and superb handling that many riders swear by. We use a Ti 3-2.5 alloy- 94.5% pure titanium, 3% aluminum and 2.5% vanadium.

Ti-3-2.5 balances the higher strength of some titanium alloys and ductility of commercially pure titanium to create an all round high performance material. Developed for the aerospace industry for use in high pressure hydraulic lines it is found on virtually all new commercial and military aero planes being built in the Western World.

Available in brushed titanium finish with lazier etched logos.
