The ultimate expedition-touring bike for low maintenance riding, designed to take you anywhere you want to go. Hand crafted from Titanium the Pioneer Rohloff frame is guaranteed to last a lifetime.

The compliant nature of titanium combined with a long distance specific geometry combine to produce one of the most comfortable frame's we've ever ridden. The Eccentric Bottom Bracket (EBB) system makes it perfect for use with hub gears like Shimano Alfine (as well as Rohloff, of course) or single speed.

The ultimate long distance love affair that will take you round the world and back again, given half a chance.

Note: frames are pictured with a golden hue but are actually silver, hand brushed natural titanium in appearance.

• Nicholas custom drawn 3Al/2.5V seamless cold worked Titanium tubing
  Tubing Specifications
• Chain stays: oversized 25.4mm, tapered, and ovalized
• Down Tube: 45mm traditional round shaped
• Seat Stays: 22.2mm hourglass round shaped and tapered.
• Seat Tube: 34.9mm round shaped with internal 27.2mm sleeve.
• Top Tube: 34.9mm round shaped
  Component Sizing
• Compatible with either V-Brake or Cantilever Brake Systems
• Frame utilizes 27.2mm seat post diametVan er / Recommended length = 300mm
• Frame utilizes a 68mm English threaded bottom bracket when fitted with the Bushnell eccentric bottom bracket recommended below
• Frame utilizes a traditional 11/4 head set

• CNC machined and sculpted chain stay bridge
• CNC machined sculpted 7mm thick titanium dropouts.
• Extended seat tube increases stand over height while creating a smaller and stiffer front triangle
• Fender mounts (chain stay bridge boss, seat stay bridge boss)
• Optimal size specific tubing (Larger diameter tubing used on larger size frames).
• Seat stay and drop out rack mounts

• WELDED water bottle Bosses; NO alloy pop-rivets.

VAN NICHOLAS LIFETIME WARRANTY

Van Nicholas will replace (not repair) any Titanium frame that fails due to manufacturer defects in materials or workmanship. Most companies have chosen to repair products that fail; this process however does not instil confidence in the product or company. This warranty is extended to the original retail purchaser according to the following conditions and limitations.
 
TIME PERIOD

Warranty coverage on the bicycle frame extends for life as long as it remains owned by the original retail purchaser. Warranty coverage on any bicycle components purchased through Van Nicholas, while owned by the original retail purchaser, will be covered by the warranty stated by their original manufacturers.
