These elegant racks are designed for 650B bikes with cantilever brakes. They made by Nitto exclusively for Grand Bois. The design was inspired by the racks of classic Rene Herse bicycles. The racks are fillet-brazed from lightweight steel tubing, with a plated finish for durability. They are among the lightest production racks available today.

The elegant tabs for mounting the rack to the cantilever bosses are brazed into the ends of the rack support tubes, like dropouts on a classic bicycle frame. (Most production racks either simply squeeze the tubes closed and drill a hole, or they weld a large plate to the end of the tube.)

The racks come with specially-made, nicely proportioned, lightweight hardware (see below).
