100% manufactured in Italy (including the carton in which it is packed), the   C-150 is built with the DOUBLE IN-MOULD technology which means that it is composed of two "MICROSHELL" (two outer shells joined with the inner polystyrene cap). This technology has enabled the integrated molding between the inner shell and the outer ones thus forming a single body in order to reach goals of lightness (less EPS inside), strength and ventilation impossible to be achieved with conventional technologies.

The INNER SHELL (which is the part that plays the active role of the head defense in case of collision) is made of high density polystyrene (PP). The density values of the C-150 is of about 90 grams per liter. Those of Chinese helmets, nowadays widely marketed in Europe even with well-known and popular brands, do not reach 60/70 grams/liter. With the subsequent spheres sintering process, blocks of expanded polystyrene are formed (EPS).

The outer parts, also known as SHELLS, are made of NON TOXIC policarbonate without any toxic substance (eg. cadmium - see Barbie dolls - which is more toxic than mercury). In addition, the paints used for its recoating and aesthetic effect are without the addition of lead (banned in Europe as a production, but allowed as a sale - see helmets imported from the Far East).

The rear occipital regulating system called CUSTOM FIT SYSTEM allows an optimal comfort fit also around the base of the neck. This retention system is really very direct, fast and simple to use: just use the back rotating device (a ratchet wheel) to adjust to millimeter your size.
