Dependant on size, the "LiteSkin" is around 200g lighter than a conventional "Big Apple" tyre. The weight reduction has been made possible using folding tyre technology and special lightweight LiteSkin side walls. There is no reduction in puncture protection due to the Kevlar Guard technology used. Safety is enhanced with a 3M reflective band around the sidewall.
