FRONT HUB: Planet-X Superlight, black anodized, 16 hole, 100mm spacing, sealed cartridge bearings
REAR HUB: Planet-X Superlight, black anodized, 24 hole, 130mm spacing, sealed cartridge bearings. Available for SRAM/Shimano 8/9/10 spd
RIMS: 16/24 hole 50mm structural carbon tubular, drilled for internal nipples.
SPOKES: Black Pillar bladed, built radial on the front, 2-cross on both sides rear.
NIPPLES: Alloy, internal
Wheels come with carbon specific brake blocks.

Ed, I suspect you may have commented on the wrong wheelset? Were you referring to the Carbon 50mm Track wheels? They have a flip-flop hub and the rim is also rim brake compatible (the same rim as these Carbon 50mm road wheels that are currently out of stock).

Hi Jon. The problem with full carbon clincher rims is that the lips tend to be quite fragile. We are currently looking into sourcing some carbon rims with alloy lips for extra durability- expect news from Eurobike trade show soon. In the meantime we have our gorgeous hand built tubs at £550 and we're looking at getting these same rims built up in the Far East so we can drop the price (but no promises to get it down to £399 at this point.). Hi Cameron. The situation with Carbon 50's is as follows. Unfortunately we have no more stock of these, but we do have stock of the Hadbuilt Carbon 50's that are a superior wheelset (but a bit more expensive). We are negotiating to have these new wheels hand built in Taiwan in order to save money and hope to get the price as low as we can (likely to be between £399 and £499 per pair).
