Sheffield Retul Fits Open

Even though we sell all the "go faster" kit - it's true to say that getting  yourself fitted correctly on your bike is another amazing cost effective way of increasing your speed. With this in mind, Planet X is delighted to announce the opening of its new Retul bike fitting studio in Sheffield. A dedicated fitting area has been fully kitted out with cutting edge Retul motion capture bike fitting technology which is available for any bike and any rider, all under the massivley experienced eye of Craig Drummond.

The Studio

The new facility, located in our showroom complex, is something we're really proud of here, infact you might even be tempted to stroll into the showroom where we feel sure you’ll spend even more money than you originally anticipated due to the exotic and wondrous goodies on display. The fitting area itself is fully kitted out with Retul motion capture bike fitting technology which is available for any bike … and any rider. Craig just can’t wait to baffle you with all the technology. (He won’t really. He’ll explain all the ‘whys’ and ‘wherefores’ no doubt). We'll advise you on position, and help you set up your bike so it fits you. We can't help with YOUR fitness, but hopefully if we get your bike fit right, your fitness should do the rest. 

Planet X’s in-house expert Craig

Craig has been in the bike trade for 32 years and has been fitting riders for road bikes for about 20 of them using what was originally called the bio-racer.com fitting jig, but later changed to bikefitting.com. He says he’s 47 years of age and when you listen to him speak you could almost believe him! He still races regularly in all aspects of the sport. He’s a 21-minute ‘10’ man, holds a first category road licence, is an elite mountain-biker and has even won the occasional "track event" at Manchester.
