Based on the already-superior design of the SRAM Force Rear Derailleur, the Red offering delivers even greater advantages thanks to a diet of structural carbon and titanium. Hybrid ceramic bearing pulleys and the titanium parallelogram spring further supercharge the overall component speed, accuracy, and durability. When we launched our road technology from scratch we reapplied our MTB proven SRAM 1:1 actuation ratio (shifter cable travel : derailleur movement) for 10 speed rear shifting. EA helps to simplify/stabilize the uneasy act of balancing rear derailleur hanger design, tight cog spacing and exact cable tension. The result: the easiest index shifting system to set up and it stays that way.

SRAM RED Front Derailleur

SRAM’s Red Front Derailleur takes precision shifting to its limits, offering the smoothest up - and downshifting. Bolstered by a hardened titanium cage, shifting and trimming are fast, easy, and smooth as silk across the entire range for both traditional and compact ring sets.

SRAM actuation maintains proper balance between upshifting and downshifting
