PX Mullen Wins TT National Championship
This Saturday saw Planet X rider Ryan Mullen win the TLI Nationals Time Trial championships by a country mile.
The course at Lower Withington near Macclesfield in Cheshire, was both challenging and technical. Ryan won the Juniour event and then found out he beat all of the seniors in the senior event scalping Simon Bridge and Roy Sumner from Port sunlight Wheelers. Ryan did a time of 22 mins dead with the nearest rival 30 secs behind. Ryan got the Age category jersey and the National Champions jersey and two gold medals.

Ryan also won the last Road-Race of the season.
Sunday saw Ryan compete in the last road of the season on Prestatyn Prom in sunny North Wales where the Police just about allow cycling on public highways! This was a promotion run by the Rhyl Cycling club and drew a good public crowd. The race was a half an hour and 5 laps riding on a promenade and roadcircuit.
Ryan road away from the field after the first lap and stayed away lapping the field over the 1 mile circuit in what was an easy win. Interesting enough the BC commissaire Mr. Tommy Greep refused Ryan permission to ride in the senior race afterwards. I think the seniors breathed a sigh of relief!
