Planet X Young Guns Season So Far
We seem to have a knack for spotting talent. Martyn Irvine, Sam Harrison we’re all Planet X juniors before they went on to fame and fortune… With the racing season in full-swing here’s a snapshot of what they’ve been up to.
Leon Gledhill does the double
Leon still (14) rode the prestigious CDNW Liverpool Crit, last Saturday.
A field of over 25 riders took part in the two race event at the cycle circuit built in Liverpool. Leon found out the night before to his surprise that he’d been chosen to represent Yorkshire, in the inter-regional road race champs next month. This morale boosting news was apparent on Saturday; he rode with conviction at the front in both events. Despite many attacks from the well organised 3 in 1 youth squad of three riders, Leon took advantage of there lead-out-man in the sprint to win not once, but twice in the same day! Gaining valuable national points.

Scott & Gledhill on for National Track Champs
Leon Gledhill (14) and Jacob Scott (15) have been selected to ride for Yorkshire in the inter-regional road and track events this summer.
Both lads are set to qualify in the National Track Omnium championship. With only the top 8 riders qualifying, Jacob is currently second and Leon 8th. But Leon has an event this weekend to gain more vital points. The finals are this Saturday at Manchester Velodrome.

PX Youngest rider bags cross victory
Also Planet X got another double victory with its youngest rider Felicity Gledhill (10) won the Summer Cyclo-Cross event at Colne Valley High on Wed. Felicity stormed to victory again on Sunday at Duncombe Park near Helmsley.
We’d like to take this opportunity to thank all the juniors for all their efforts this season, Chapeau!
