Gyula Kis HUNGARIAN 70.3 NATIONAL CHAMPION

"I'm glad to tell you that I won the Hungarian National Championship on 70.3 distance!!!! The swim was smooth for me, I came out the water 3rd, but same time with the leading group.

The bike course was very hilly. Within 80km was almost 1000m level elevation. It was a very technical bike section including some very dangerios curve. BUT I can escape from the others and did an unbelivable bike section. I did 39km/h average. I still can believe this!

My bike was perfect! In the past, the bike was always my weakness, but now I can got off the bike almost 8 minutes before everybody!!

The run was smooth. The run was always my best sport. I can gain my advantage another 2 minutes, and won more than 10 minutes before the second guy, who could overtook me last year.

The overall time was 3:47:35! Here is some pictures about the race.
